The soul of Cossni begins with our founder, Tyson Liang. Immersed in traditional Chinese painting from a young age, Tyson developed a profound eye for aesthetics. After majoring in design, his passion led him to Milan, the fashion capital of the world.
During his time in Milan, his sharp fashion intuition helped him connect with top-tier international designers at fashion weeks and industry salons. Participating directly in the design and production of luxury bags, Tyson accumulated deep industry insights and a sophisticated design philosophy.
Despite enjoying a lucrative career and comfortable life abroad, the dream of creating his own original leather goods brand never faded.
In 1997, driven by this relentless passion, Tyson made the bold decision to return to Guangzhou. He gathered a dynamic group of energetic young designers and master craftsmen, and together, they laid the foundation for the brand we know today.
We didn’t just want to replicate Western fashion. Instead, the team boldly integrated the essence of traditional Chinese culture – the emerging “Guochao” aesthetic – with Western minimalist elements.
This cross-cultural fusion has become our signature, allowing us to lead a timeless trend in the leather goods industry that resonates globally.
